PVC PipeDura Blue Pipe shall meet the requirements of AWWA C-900, UL 1285, FM 1612, CAN/CSA-B137.3 and BNQ NQ3624-250 Standards,as indicated, for potable water transmission mains and for fire protection systems. Our pipe meets National Sanitation Foundation Standards NSF® 61-G, NSF® pw-G for plastic piping system components and NSF® fs for "Underground Fire Service per UL1285 Standard." The gasketed joint shall meet the requirements of ASTM D-3139, and the joint gasket shall conform to ASTM F-477. Pipe shall be furnished in laying lengths of 20' (+/- 1"). Other lengths may be available upon request.Dura Flow Pressure Pipe shall meet the requirements of ASTM Standard D-2241. Pipe supplied with solvent cement joint shall meet the requirements of ASTM D-2672. Pipe supplied with a gasketed joint shall meet the requirements of ASTM D-3139, and the joint gasket shall conform to the requirements of ASTM F-477. All pipes shall meet the requirements of NSF Standard #14, "Plastic Piping Components and Related Materials," and Standard #61, "Drinking Water System Components-Health Effects". The pipe displays the "NSF-PW" listing mark signifying use in potable water applications. Both Dura Blue and Dura Flow are manufactured in alternative colors for specific applications. Purple is used for Reclaimed Water application. Print legend will include the marking "Reclaimed Water". Green is used for Sanitary Sewer Force Main applications. Print legend will include "Force Main". Although manufactured in accordance with the same industrial standards and testing requirements, these products do not bear the NSF, CSA & BNQ Listing Mark, as they are used for different applications. PLUMB-RITE® PVC Schedule 40 IPS and Schedule 80 IPS Pressure Pipe is manufactured in accordance with the specifications set forth in ASTM Standard D1785 and is listed with NSF for use in potable water applications, having met Standards 14 and 61 requirements. PVC Schedule 40 is manufactured from a rigid polyvinyl chloride compound, with a Cell Classification of 12454, as defined in ASTM Standard D1784. Dark gray in color our PVC Schedule 80 is manufactured from a rigid polyvinyl chloride compound with a Cell Classification of 12454 as defined in ASTM Standard D-1784. DUCT-WAY Pipe is intended for use in Industrial & Commercial Utility Applications. Our DUCT-WAY product is manufactured from virgin PVC compounds with a cell class of 12454-B as defined by ASTM D-1784. |
